Confidentiality and Ethical conduct
NIP is firmly committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity in the conduct of its business.
The role of ethics emphasizes to all employees the fairness and honesty in the performance of their jobs.
Every employee understands that ethics and integrity are not an obstruction to business, but are rather essential to doing business in the spirit of the Company’s values.
ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE COMPANY SHALL OBSERVE THAT:
• Every procedure must be carried out with thoughtfulness and accuracy.
• Integrity and professionalism must be pledged to the absolute reliability of the employees work.
• Knowledge and information obtained concerning patients and individuals in the course of work must be treated as confidential.
• To treat information as absolutely confidential and not divulge it to anybody except requesting clinician.
• Not to discuss medical or laboratory subjects with patients, their relatives and friends or any other individuals.
• Not to attempt to interpret results of laboratory tests to provide a medical opinion. Only a pathologist with medical
education is qualified to do so.
The effectiveness of this Code of Ethical Conduct in protecting the Company, along with its shareholders and employees, depends upon every NIP employee understanding the importance of ethics, fairness and honesty in the performance of their jobs.
In order to underscore our commitment to confidentiality, all staff members of NIP sign a confidentiality agreement on accepting employment.
